We have an idea of how our service will look like.

In other words this is how we see the place where the homeless people will be getting their haircut and shower

We see it in a very simple design. Since it is going to be in gymnasium. However, it was build for the regular people. We who can afford to go to gymnasium - have ability to have only few necessary things with us; such as phones, wallets, keys. Hence, we can manage to fit our small belongings to the regular lockers.

However, homeless people would not be able to fit their belongings in them, since most of them carry a lot of stuff with them ( sometimes it could be supermarket trolley filled with their belongings). Moreover, the shower facility would also not going to be very ideal place for them. We have talked to some of homeless people, we understood that they are shy, because of us being very ignorant and they feel emotionally down. So, shower facility like in ordinary gym would not also be ideal in perfect case scenario.

Nevertheless, we think it is still going to be totally fine to start with those kind of facilities. However, the perfect would be to rent a building that would have some space. (this is going to be our future goals, but the gymnasium will be used for now because it will be cheaper and more accessible)

Future Project:

The reception room:

As soon as you enter, there is a coat hanger on the left side. The receptionist will be seated on the right side taking names and keeping the queue organized. She will have a laptop, printer - fax, coffee cup, and a chair with the table.

Left bottom corner and right upper corner will be - few comfortable chair to wait for their turns with tea table (magazines, brochures, books, and tea/coffee pot). Those black things are the chairs where the homeless people can be sitted and wait for their turns.

On the right upper corner will be TVs to show informations and number of their queue. There will be also more brochures that can give some useful informations to them

The door next to the receptionist will be a door for a locker - will be safe with keys. And the locker will be a place where homeless people can keep their dog and trolleys in them.

As soon as entered there will be a mirror. And each room will have a place to stick the dog and keep their belongings. Included chair and a small shelf in order to keep their smaller stuff. Moreover, it will have a cloth hanger.

Shower room will be also separated. With a clean towels as entered on the left and small private shower rooms with floor mat (bath mat), yellow thing is a mirror hanged on the wall, black sticks - is a hook for cloth. The door will be going inside of the wall (rolling doors since there is not much space), chairs will be also included just incase to put few things or to wait there, and those beige colour rectangular is a laundry bag - to put used towels.

In order to cut hair there will be only 4 because the haircut will be done for each person once in a three month. That is why four open space haircut places will be enough.

There will be comfortable chair and mirror in front of them (as it is in regular hair salons) with the shower shower sink (to wash their hairs after the haircut and before if necessary). There will be two big and long shelves in order to have some sort of separation and most importantly to keep shampoo, hair dryer, scissors, etc. moreover, in the upper middle place will be a full size mirror to see how the haircut was done.
